Bernd was diagnosed with gastritis recently and now has constant stomach pain. I guess I really need to start eating healthy from now on.

My innards are ruined from abusing alcohol. Every time I drink a carbonated liquid too fast I start to get foam inside of my esophagus and puke foam. It makes it so I can't burp and it happens every time I drink beer too. Very uncomfortable and not normal, I can't drink beer anymore. Such cases.

>>16552 Wtf man, the good thing is you don't drink alcohol anymore.
picrel is the solution for most cases generic versions are like $0.75 per 30 capsules pack here
I drink 4-5 cups of coffee everyday. I think soon I will be same as you.
The pain got a bit better over the last couple of days, guess I'll have to continue eating healthy for a while...
>>17573 Buy stomach tea esp. with fennel and yarrow, it did wonders for mine.
>>17576 Yeah, I've been drinking fennel and camomile tea non-stop the last couple of days
Another noticeable improvement pain wise was noticed last night.
>>17712 Nice. Glad to hear Bernd!
>>16551 What do you usually eat?
>>17763 Chili con carne, noodles with tomato sauce, frosta, rice, simple stuff like that
How did you get diagnosed? Did they look inside your stomach?
>>17767 Yeah, a couple of months ago I had continuous pain in the chest area and it always appeared after eating, so the doctors quickly thought something was wrong with my stomach. Then I made an appointment for a gastroscopy
try soaked oats and chia seeds. the slimy consistency is supposedly good for your gut.
>>17765 Do you not cook your own meals?
>>17796 I do, who else would cook it? Well frying frosta can't be called cooking, but whatever, I'm just a lazy bum.
>>17768 >appointment for a gastroscopy How long did you have to wait for the gastroscopy? I got one too a couple of years ago. I called all the places that could do it within 50km of my flat. Still I had to wait 3 or 4 months until I got it.
>>17806 I think I waited around a month, but just because my mother works at a hospital.
>>17808 Did you get local anesthesia or did they put you to sleep? How was it?
>>17810 I got 410mg propofol for sleeping, apparently that's a lot, which was needed because I wouldn't fall asleep otherwise. Didn't consciously notice anything during the procedure, but a few hours after it I suddenly had strong pain when swallowing food and drinks, which lasted basically (in weaker form) until today (had the procedure last Tuesday), so I don't know what happened there, if they damaged something inside...
>>17811 I only got a local anesthetic. There is a moment, when they push the probe into your throat where a pretty hard survival reflex kicks in. I remember that I had to grab the sides of the bed really hard in order to keep my body down. But that only takes maybe a second. The rest of the procedure is nothingburger. Doctors are more rough with you when you sleep. I had a colleague that got some kind of tooth procedure under narcosis and later it turned out that they had opened his mouth so roughly that they had permanently damaged the joints of his jaw.
>>17810 >>17811 they knock you out for gastroscopy? really, Germany? wtf? did it once. unpleasant? yes. but perfectly tolerable.
>>17814 Sadly we don't get the good stuff that americans get ;_;
>>17814 It’s not a general anesthetic though, just a soporific
I started making yogurt. Now I'm eating lots of fresh self-made yogurt every day. Stomach feeling good and good shittings. Recommend.
>>17798 Yeah...but I meant making your own tomato sauce instead of the crap out of a glass for example. At least then you can decide what's in there.
>>17906 No, I did that for a while, but I was too retarded to season it properly, so it tasted like nothing. Then I just went back to buying the stuff in glasses.
>>17907 It's time to restart. Your stomach will thank you. 1-2 sticks of celery, chopped 1 onion, chopped 6-8 tomatoes, chopped 2 branches of thyme 3 bay leaves a glass of red wine put celery and onion in a frying pan for a few mins, then add the tomatoes. Add plenty of salt amd pepper. Then after 5 mins the red wine and the herbs. Also half a spoon of sugar. Let it simmer for 30 minutes or so. If you like you can add parmesan directly or later. Tastes great every time.
>>17942 Oh, forgot the GARLIC! 2 pieces of garlic, chopped. Add with tomatoes, not with onion.
>>17942 >>17944 Thanks, and I trust you that it would taste good, but I’m too lazy for doing stuff like that. I eat noodles with tomato sauce, because it’s a quick dish and is ready in 15 minutes.

>>18439 The posted Recipe is done in 15min, if you cook some specials Noodles you even wont be able to use a bit of the Noodlewater for the Sauce bc the Noodles take longer than the Sauce. >>17942 Come on no Basil and most important Oregano? You can step up your Game easily.
>>18448 >Let it simmer for 30 minutes >done in 15m Doubt
>>18448 Btw I never understood why Ppl use sugar for sour+salty Recipes, seems to me like put Sugar in everything for extra Taste! Yeah Muricastyle! I never use Sugar for any salty Dishes and for Tomatosauce I use Vinegar instead to have it even more tasty.

>>18451 Im always using a Timemachine while cooking. You are proofed wronk. What you do now. Kek
>>18448 >Come on no Basil and most important Oregano? >You can step up your Game easily. No, really! It's a sugo variant from Apulia and very tasty.
>>18453 It's a standard in many hearty Asian dishes too. A dash of sugar will make the taste richer. Just like adding a pinch of salt in cookie dough or porridge.
