it Cool\informative YouTube videos Bernd 2025-10-22 20:15:21 No. 17646
Got any to share, Brent? I use yt1s.biz to rip them.
>>17646 >I use yt1s.biz to rip them. Not sure if dumbass or advertising, but use yt-dlp next time

Whether it's christian mercy or humanist rehabilitation I always find it annoying how easily these people ignore the fact that most crimes have a victim, and the victim has a family and friends. I don't care whether the justice system is merciful or therapeutic if the criminals can get away with murder I'm gonna be pissed. Both christians and humanists seem to think that revenge is evil or something, even though it's perfectly justified more often than not. They don't seem to have a problem with the state considering vigilantes as the worst criminals for violating the authority of the state. They're both onboard with it.
Not cool, but informative. I also highly recommend every Bernd to read the book "Amusing Ourselves to Death" by Neil Postman.
If you enjoy films and filmmaking: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjFqcJQXGZ6T6sxyFB-5i6A
>>17707 Yeah, there are some pretty good film essay channels.
>>17709 I've been meaning to watch Stalker for a long ass time now. Fug.
>>17795 It's even on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3hBLv-HLEc), it has been a long time since I last watched it.
Well anyway, there are countless great film essays.
I don't normally watch Kurzgesagt, but this one really got my noggin' joggin'.
would be very much obliged for vids in French for non-speakers not those 'learn the language' ones, but more about life in France, customs, food, etc. would be nice if they spoke slowly and distinctly though
>>17664 Justice and order have nothing to do with forgiveness or redemption. Post-WW2 feminized society can't understand that. It's a gross perversion of Christianity that tells Caesar he can't use his sword.
>>17797 >>17795 Also has Tarkovsky's Andrei Rublev: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=je75FDjcUP4
>>17821 We're not ignoring you, but "vids in French" and "if they spoke slowly and distinctly" is a contradiction in terms. It takes the French twice as many words to say something as it would in english. So they compensate by talking three times faster. You're best off searching for French videos, and then setting the playback speed to 75%. There is a subset of videos called "slow french", but it's mostly about learning the language or news content.
>>17819 I really like this one. The girl is cute. Kurzgesagt - Why Does Fentanyl Feel So Good? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6KnVTYtSc0
>>18124 Sort of interesting. I'm not sure which is best, either keep kids ignorant about drugs or straight up tell them them "dude, it will be THE BEST experience of your life BY FAR, but then you will probably get hooked and die on the streets bro"
>>18107 Kek are you kidding? >It takes the French twice as many words to say something as it would in english. You are obviously talking about Spanish, they tend to talk half an Hour to say "No its the other Way". If you compare spanish Ppl talking to any other Language you will regonize they talk way too much to say nothing at all. French is a beautiful Language and aside from sometimes being very "describtive", its on Point and short in Comparison to spanish Speakers (especially to the Language of the Ppl leaving in South Spain, Malaga etc pp).
>>18154 I have met French who talk exactly like Spanish or Italians, and French who talk like Germans or Dutch or British.
>>18154 I agree that French is a beautiful language. But I didn't compare French to Spanish because that wasn't posters question. No one but you brought that up (this is also why I didn't compare the speed of French relative to the speed of light). <-- as a subscriber bonus, here is some beautiful slow French.
>>18486 Hello Canadaball (it seem to me you try to be a good Nemesis so I accept) >But I didn't compare French to Spanish because that wasn't posters question. No one but you brought that up (this is also why I didn't compare the speed of French relative to the speed of light). You posted a lot of Bullshit about the french Language, I compared your Bullshit to the spanish Language which is way more fitting to your Assumption. To show your Post was Bullshit! >We're not ignoring you, but How important do you think you are? If you like to ignore someone (wish me Luck to succeed with your Bullshit!) you ignore the Post, if someone wants to reply they will...why do you think you can talk for anything "we"? ...and now finally take the Bullshit, swallow it, get lost bc noone likes you and go Fuck Yourself! I bless your Afterlife.
>>18107 >>18154 >>18155 >they compensate by talking three times faster yeah, but there are some channels for non-speakers that at least try to be comprehensible for example, I've found this girl's yt channel. it is a learn-the-language oriented but she does expand into topics like lifestyle and French news. she's a bit too much about girly stuff, so it'd be nice to have more men-oriented or general topics vids. her talk speed it what I'm looking for though: most vids I understand like 75-80% even without the subs.
>>18504 Good channel. I wanted to recommend it but doubted whether it's qualifies as "learn the language" stuff. Here is a channel where they ask random people questions on the streets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcQiEc2l5WY Usually people are confused and think a lot while answering, so they speak slowly. Just an interesting video, that explains a lot: > Why French sounds so unlike other Romance languages https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2TWBBxwhbU

>>18504 >>18536 Why are Russians so interested in learning French?
>>18537 I've once read a sci-pop book about linguistics, became very interested by it and decided to learn 3-rd language. I've learned several languages, each one just a bit. And finally decided to settle with French. It's not too difficult, grammar is simple and it has many common vocabulary with English (and Russian too btw). So it's possible to learn it without spending thousands of hours (only hundreds). And at the same time it has many speakers, big heritage.
>>18540 Two hundred years ago every Russian aristocrat spoke French, so in a way you're their descendant.
>>18536 tx, Bernd will watch >>18537 for me it's work related
>>18569 I thought Belarus was sanctioned. Which frogs do business with you?
>>18571 yeah, sanctions are a pain in the ass but it's big government enterprises or Russian controlled banks that are under sanctions
>>18491 I gave a response because after a day, no one else gave a response to a very polite request ("would be very much obliged"). I said "we" to maintain a sense of community and to soften the perception of rudeness (I wasn't sure if this was the same bernd who just got out of the 'spa'). >why do you think you can talk for anything "we"?... noone likes you You do realize that in one sentence you complain that I am claiming to speak for everybody, and in the next sentence you claim to speak for everybody? Is this more of your bullshit beats bullshit logic?
>>18581 Thx. I had forgotten about CGP Grey.
