It's crazy to me that there are still services in 2025 that do not allow 2 factor authentication via a one time password or passkeys to login. They are practically begging to get phished.
>>30085 I don't get why people aren't using Yubikeys where they can.
>>30112 Because most people aren't pedophile schizos
>>30114 What do pedos have to do with this?
>>30119 They're the only ones concerned about security, didn't you know?
>>30123 No, I didn't. I thought any sane person was.
>>30141 >Germ not getting obvious sarcasm Why are they like that?
>>30142 I can't tell, if people are serious or not, because people nowadays tend to have the most insane opinions and world views. We truly live in the age of post-irony.
It's crazy to me that there are still services in 2025 that use passwords or OTP security theater in any form at all. Just let me send you a pubkey.
I want to use passkeys/2fa but I'm worried I'll lose my phone and lose access to everything forever. Saving backup codes presents its own challenges, and I'm fairly nomadic and scatterbrained. I have lost multiple github accounts this way. What do I do? t. dumb bernd
