How do my fellow serious Bernds deal with people who say falsehoods? I tend to surround myself with honest and loyal people, it helps that lots of them are also spergs. But at work, I can't do that. Capitalism rewards those hiding flaws or overselling something. >Use this tool, it is reliable <It is not, but you already paid for it Or >Bernd, can you finish this project someone else started but is needed somewhere else? They said it's basically finished and only needs this one piece. <Half of the specifications are not fulfilled. Also, I heard my boss talk badly about a coworker because "he's too honest to do this, we need someone who can sell it to a customer" - what the hell? Is everyone participating in capitalism lying all the time? I want to become a NEET again.
>>31516 > I want to become a NEET again. What prevents you?
>>31517 Capitalism bucks > NEET bucks Also, the structure of work helps me deal with life.
>>31520 If you think it's not right for you yourself and your personal moral values then you shouldn't do it, our life was forged by brave men and women like you who wouldn't take the bullshit, who wouldn't take the lies and instead made something better for themselves, maybe it's possible? Or maybe you are just a whiny little retard gay bitch
>>31523 I'm considering working independently and not for a company. But if honesty is seen as weakness that should be exploited, I'd rather not do that.
>>31526 You're a fucking Swiss bastard you got privilege up your asshole I wish I could live in Switzerland without niggers
>capitalism this or that Cringe. As to your question, people are shit everywhere but in different ways. Either learn to live with it or go insane.
>>31527 There's freedom of movement, just look for a job here? But also, I know I'm being a privileged asshole. My income is easily in the world's top 10% and my worries about work are that people lie to me, not that a mineshaft collapses on me during my 16 hour shift. Doesn't mean I cannot be upset.
>>31530 >Doesn't mean I cannot be upset. That's the spirit of a white man, now challenge that anger and hatred of niggers into something productive and useful, and hire me as your confidant in Switzerland
>>31516 > Bernd > surround myself with people Yeah, sure.
Don't listen to what people say but focus on what they really mean. >Use this tool, it is reliable Depending on the situation, could mean 'I want to feel like I didn't make a bad choice using this tool' So you reply >oh I have my own, but yeah that one looks cool
I don't have to deal with this as I don't have a job.
I roast them for it. They usually get the hint pretty quickly.
I just avoid them. They're not my problem if you don't feed them lies. And every lie told pays a debt to the truth so fuck it I don't want to be around their games.
This is a useful book für Bernd. Working With Difficult People Part 3: Dealing with Deceitful or Underhanded People Basically each chapter is dedicated to a type, and divided to three tiers: boss, colleague, subordinate. Each tiers divided into subgroups.
>>31636 Thank you Bernd, I'll try to find my coworkers in this book.
