Any other Bernds go to the gym? What are your current goals? What is your current split?
>>8383 It's boring, it stinks, it's full of annoying gymbros and attentionwhoring cunts, and I already get tired enough at work, thank you very much. I don't understand the appeal.
>>8388 >I don't understand the appeal You don't understand? Look: >It's boring, it stinks, it's full of annoying gymbros and attentionwhoring cunts fits perfectly to Bernds.
No. Every so often I go hiking or swimming in the lake and that's the full extent of my physical exercise.
>>8397 Where do you go hiking? Just out of town in the woods? It's kinda boring here, an exactly perfect balance of the nature not being wild enough to entertain the eye and the lacking infrastructure. I really should buy an e-bike, I guess.
I have a subscription but I don't go often enough to get any results. I don't have concrete goals or a plan, which doesn't help. If I had a gym buddy, I might go more regularly just to not let them down. I had that in the past, and it worked, but then I moved.
>>8410 I live in the Napf area which is a popular hiking mountain. Usually I start at 7-8 in the morning, eat lunch on top and get back some time in the mid-late afternoon.
My office has a gym I used for some months, then I lost motivation and since then I haven't been to it.
I was into powerlifting-type workouts. Squat, deadlift, bench, for several years. Now I just squat 405lbs 5 sets of 7 (190kg?) once per week. I also take testosterone injections, around 225mg per week, which keeps my muscle mass in the upper.body. Besides this I run 5 times a week 3.5 miles.
>>8457 >then I lost motivation why? what happened?
Bernd was forced to go to the gym by his mother when he was 16 because she complained Bernd was sitting at home too much. Of course she herself never exercised and was fat. Bernd went to the gym for a couple of months but stopped going the day the gym owner offered him steroids. All it has done is absolutely ruin Bernds motivation to ever exercise again. Just like school sports.
>>9243 you make it sound like other people are responsible for your actions
>>9245 Other people are responsible for them.
My ultimate goal is to weight 200 lbs. I'm currently at 295 lbs., down from 410 lbs. As for my routine, three of my days are spent doing focus lifting sessions (45 minutes) and cardio (2+ hours), and the other three are spent doing a full lifting program (60-90 minutes) and then doing cardio.
>>9397 > My ultimate goal is to weight 200 lbs. I'm currently at 295 lbs., down from 410 lbs. Damn good job - you're halfway there. I lost 140lbs. Lots of cardio and low cal+high protein diet. Took a little over a year, 10lbs a month. When I hit the half way mark I was fucking pumped! How tall are you? 200lb might be too low
