Due to maintenance work, this chan will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours between 8 a.m. on 1 November (07:00 UTC) and 8 p.m. (19:00 UTC) on 2 November. During this period, the site may be unavailable or have difficulties to access. After the maintenance window, everything should be working as usual again. The radio is not affected by this.

where will the western quality of life free fall stop? personally i think all of europe, well the parts not already poorer than turkey, will emulate the turkish model of 30-40% unemployment, inflation, and obesity. they'll make a couple things but all the corporations and wealthy to tax will have left. It will also still be full of migrants like turkey

>>18917 The Coalition in Australia ran their last election campaign on Nuclear energy and got utterly trounced. Nobody wants to live near a nuclear power station.
>>18917 they actually wage some covert in NA, some dude that did flatness told me the nuclear regulation called for measurements that didnt exist not high intensity enough for bans but over regulation
>>18815 So in 2 weeks Germany is finally done. But this time real. Only 2 weeks. Youve been sayin this for years but now it is real. 2 weeks and Germany is totally deindustrialized. Really!
>>18960 yeah he be right since the syrian migrants and staglation line up at the same time decade back
>>18941 Interesting. We go all in in Canada. Our second largest nuclear site is 75km from the downtown core of our largest city. (ie- lets hope the wind is blowing in the opposite direction when the meltdown happens). Another Blame Canada fun fact: we are the reason India is a nuclear power. We sold them our CANDU reactor tech in the late 60s. In 1974 India conducted its first nuclear weapons test.

I heard this song on car radio many times lately. It was first popsong in years giving me a boost. I wondered who was author/singer. I just found out it was Lady Gaga. This bitch is talented. Second Madonna, only better. https://youtu.be/xGaZBfJOyAc I thought she was dead because i kinda stopped hearing about her. But she is still alive. Videoclip recorded by Tim Burton. Director of "Mars Attacks!". Natalie Portman had episode in it. She was not as sexy as in Leon but still juicy as a 15 yo pussy.

ca Book thread Bernd 2025-10-27 12:05:12 No. 18750 Reply
Book thread. What is Bernd reading? This is the first book I've tried to read in Spanish, following a pensive young man in Madrid in the years before the Spanish-American War. I don't understand 100% but it's still enjoyable. Lots of relatable bildungsruminations. Baroja is a good writer and I like exploring fin de siecle Madrid.

>>18910 To be fair, they have a lot to be mad about. We killed up to 10% of their population in a war to conquer them after liberating them, and if you've ever played HoI4 the lack of defense of the Philippines IRL is inconceivable.
>>18903 I can't give you any details, it was about two decades ago. I just remember that the part you quoted was my impression. That stuck with me.
>>18925 There are ancient terms like "wherefore". It's basically the German Wofür. Many English speakers don't know that it just means why.
Has the previous book thread sank?
>>19019 Had the same thought and was shocked to not find it anymore, so unless it has been deleted by the mods I guess it died…

>>18624 I can clearly see compression in dark scenes. >like removing dirty lines, applying filters etc Lmao who tf does that? You watch movies as they are without interfering. I always turn off all the goodizers on my tv.
>>18632 Those cases I mentioned are defects of the home releases. It’s not how the movie is intended to be seen, so if you wouldn’t fix those you wouldn’t watch the movie as it is, but only an inferior defective version. Good encoders know what they’re doing, spot those deficiencies and fix them. We’re not talking about stuff like instagram filters here, it’s about shit like banding, haloing, dirty lines, wrong chroma etc.
Personally I use Jellyfin
>>18632 >I can clearly see compression in dark scenes. This is such a dumb rate control fail, I don't get why codecs still do that. Dark scenes are generally easy to encode, but the codecs lower the bitrate *too* low - that's the whole problem. They overdo the bitrate reduction.
>>19015 This is a problem even with commercial releases. I've watched blue reis where I could play tetris with the color gradients.

I once saw a video of some dude who got stopped by cops and he was asked by cops if he has shit in his car and he said yes, he has drugs for sedating kids. Then the cops searched all his car and he had nothing lmao.

Is it just me or is Scully getting more beautiful by the episode? Damn… I also like that there is nothing lustful or superficial about her beauty.
>>18838 >mpv Yeah no. I remember using it for certain videos that wouldn't play in VLC, years back. VLC plays them now. While VLC doesn't have the best user interface, it's kind of standard. mpv is completely its own thing. I actually switched to mpv wrapper SMPlayer after a short while because it was less weird. Can't say that I liked that one much neither.
