Good news everyone! Apparently, causality might not be a thing. This is yet more evidence that points to the universe not being material at all in its essence. Based?

Watched this breddy intresting video that touches upon how materialism is fundamentally a lie that we keep believing for convenience's sake so here it is. :^)
>>9474 do you believe in the eternalist model of time
Most of her videos are okay, she usually states very clearly where the borders of her knowledge and understanding are and handles everything in a much more transparent way than others. Her videos on "AI" are completely horrible, though. I've actually been working in that area for two decades and spent about five years running a data centre full of GPUs. I've heard her present things that happened ten years ago as having happened just now because some "AI" guy said so. She recently had to decrease the number of videos per week while a sponsor dropped out. I guess the operation she's running is much tighter than one would think, and the clickbait videos have to subsidize the hardcore niche science research.
>>9737 So, most videos are okay, yet the ones you're an expert on are horrible? I see a pattern here. I noticed the same but not on AI.

Do you believe that vat tax should be applied uniformly by a government on all goods? Or do you believe that a government should exempt or reduce the vat on certain goods such as foodstuff? In one side, one might argue that exemptions and reductions create unfair preferences and asimmetry, and unnecessary bureaucratic costs in having to decide and apply these exemptions. On the other side one might argue that vat hurts specially the poorest sectors of society, and by taxing essential goods like literal food that people have no option but to buy, the government is increasing poverty. What is your opinion?

>>9720 >>9727 The very definition of VAT is that it's a consumption tax that's only paid by the end consumer, but collected from the companies. Vorsteuer is part of the collection mechanism. When a company buys something for its own use, e.g. computers or machines, it doesn't pay VAT on it. Neither do e.g. parts of the German federal government like federal offices or federal research centers. It's called Vorsteuerabzug. For some stupid reasons other instances, like schools, universities and state offices have to pay VAT. The government is re-taxing a part of its own money. Genius.
>>9734 > When a company buys something for its own use, e.g. computers or machines, it doesn't pay VAT on it It pays Vorsteuer, unless it can offset it with VAT to stuff it sells. The general idea, as far as I understand it, is that business and private persons are two domains of taxation and passing between them incurs a tax.
>>9735 The moment the thing it buys becomes a permanent business asset (Betriebsvermögen) instead of being a part of something that is meant to be a product that is sold on later, the Vorsteuer is nulled by a virtual Vorsteuerabzug. The only case in which this doesn't work is if the thing was bought from a private individual that cannot handle VAT (e.g. the company buys a used car directly from Bernd). If the asset is sold on later, VAT may have to be collected on it.
Fines and VAT should be proportional to your wealth. Shouldn't be difficult considering the Finance Ministry already has the data.

Not very armored but it's just so cute (bv 206). Honorable mention: Killdozer.

I'll make the thread, because someone will make it eventually anyway. What do you think of the shooting of Charlie Kirk? Are we approaching a new era of political violence in the west? I'm feeling a mixture of sadness and anger. I wish for revenge, but I understand not all leftists are guilty, and it would only fuel the cycle of violence.

How the hell does a nation of gun owners have so many would-be assassins who can't really hit a target? Kirk was shot in the neck and only died later from his injuries. Could well be still alive, like The Orange One.
>>9723 > it will be memoryholed Donald has sent the military to other places for much less. Stuff like this is exactly what the authoritarians are waiting for.
Who exactly is this guy?! Never heard of Charlie Murk
That's a lot of habbenings in a week and it's still Wednesday.

According to the Swedish philosopher Nick Bostrom, at least one of the following propositions is true: (1) the human species is very likely to go extinct before reaching a “posthuman” stage; (2) any posthuman civilization is extremely unlikely to run a significant number of simulations of their evolutionary history (or variations thereof); (3) we are almost certainly living in a computer simulation. It follows that the belief that there is a significant chance that we will one day become posthumans who run ancestor-simulations is false, unless we are currently living in a simulation. Does Bernd feel like he's living in a simulation? Expiate your oceans.

the simulation argument is stupid because all the arguments towards the simulation can endlessly be made for the world in which the supposed simulation is running, so its like an infinite simulation of simulations which never exits into any kind of real world. basically their arguments are arguing for the argument that no "real world" exists or is even theoretically possible. but those are just semantics. if real world is impossible and doesnt exist but all what exists is the simulation then the simulation is the real world
As long as the simulation follows consistent rules, there's no difference between living a simulation and a computable universe. So if you believe in a computable universe, the question is an idle one (except in the context of anthropic arguments, but then it becomes about whether you sample once from every class or once from every instance). If you believe in a noncomputable universe, the question becomes, what are the observable differences? Do you think there is a true random source at the center of the cosmos?

Swedish health minister just had a very sudden health problem, probably caused by modRNA injection she foolishly took 4 years ago instead of saline solution like vast majority of politicians. BTW, imagine state of your health care if even health minister is no longer healthy PENIS

Peer-reviewed study finds ALL vials of Pfizer/Moderna "vaccines" contained hundreds billions of DNA fragments, including SV40, Spike, and ORI. DNA loads up to 627x above FDA/WHO 10 ng limit 100–160 billion DNA fragments per dose, packaged in lipid nanoparticles which geometrically prolonges their ability to genomic integration >Higher DNA loads might also contribute to long-term health risks, such as cancer from genomic integration events. VAERS primarily captures short-term AEs and may underreport long-term effects. Further vial testing is needed to establish a dose-response curve using VAERS data. Long-term prospective monitoring is essential to assess the impact of genetic vaccines, especially since the spike protein has been detected up to 704days post-vaccination >Our findings extend existing concerns about vaccine safety and call into question the relevance of guidelines conceived before the introduction of efficient transfection using LNPs. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/08916934.2025.2551517 Huge contamination of synthetic residual DNA plasmids + huge contamination with synthetic SV40 promoter that drives gene expression by enhancing transcription + modRNA/AVV = huge and deliberately created risk of genomic integration for every dose and initiating malignant processes in cells.

>>9710 There is no other way to describe a technology that can induce over 1200 types of disorders affecting every single organ of a human body. And this modus operandi was already described by +3k peer-reviewed case report studies.

>>9609 Wow they already did the Netflix movie?
>>9639 >The US has a few ten thousands homicides per year. Sadly that never stopped the left, the NGO complex, and the media establishment from turning Trayvon Martin, Ahmaud Arbery, Jordan Neely, and even non-violent trivial incidents like the "Central Park birdwatching incident" into national stories with leading headlines to reinforce the narrative of black victimization and white racism, despite each one of those cases being a lot more cherry-picked than this Ukrainian woman's murder when considering statistical realities. After a whole decade of suffering such dishonest garbage from esteemed institutions like the NYT that are held up as exemplars of journalistic integrity, there's a completely understandable impulse to use that same playbook against them, because it is a very powerful method of swaying public opinion. So here we are. And while OP may or may not be from /pol/, the contents of his post qualify as mainstream right-wing in the US at this point. Fox News was openly posting black crime statistics to their boomer audience two days ago, which would have been unimaginable even 3 years ago.
